A tad younger Mr. Richards with an English gentleman in London in 1987. When recognizing Mr. Richards'
American (Maine) accent, the gentleman asked "What state are you from?" Mr. Richards: "Maine".
Obviously Geographically literate, the English gentleman responded "Capital, Augusta, population 21,800".
I was impressed and thought "Americans should care to know about other places in the world". The Londoner
gave Mr. Richards and a friend a 2-hour walking tour of the city of London. There is a lot of history and beautiful
sights in our own Belfast and the surrounding area. Hopefully, someday, you might give a tour of your
hometown to an interested visitor.
